Monday the 18th June marks the start of this
year’s Child Safety week. Child Safety Week is the Child Accident Prevention
Trust’s annual community education campaign. It aims to raise awareness of the
number of accidents that seriously injure or kill children every year and the
steps we can take to help prevent them. There’s lots more information about
this week and events to support it on the Child Accident Prevention Trust
website (http://www.capt.org.uk/year-planner/child-safety-week-2012)
which includes information on blinds, useful information about blind safety can
also be found at http://www.makeitsafe.org.uk/
and on our website http://www.euro-blinds.co.uk/child_safety/
In support of this, like our Facebook page (and send us your address) and we will post you a chain tidy for an existing blind
in your home. Our advisers will also be happy to talk to you about child proofing
all the blinds in your home or replacing with cordless options.
